A Story Like No Other

Has the long-awaited World Teacher already arrived in our midst? asks Share International

All the great religions posit the idea of a further revelation to be given by a future Teacher.Christians hope for the return of the Christ, Buddhists look for Maitreya Buddha while Muslims await the Imam Mahdi, Hindus a reincarnation of Krishna and Jews the Messiah.

What if this future, was, in fact, now, at the end of one age and the beginning of the next?

Would mankind notice if the World Teacher, the Christ, Buddha or the Imam Mahdi were actively working in the world today? Would mankind respond to the notes of love reminding all to share the Earth’s resources fairly? Would the people of the world respond to the powerful energy urging social justice and protection of the weak?

Over the past 150 years, unprecedented technical developments, economic changes, natural and man-made disasters have brought humanity to a crisis.

Social injustice and inequity are coming to the fore and cleavages in society are becoming more apparent, while the threat of environmental catastrophe threatens our very existence. Some cling grimly to the past and others embrace the new era now dawning.

Through all of this noise, is there a cause for optimism as felt by many today?

Teachings by Helena Blavatsky, Helena Roerich, Alice A. Bailey and others from the 1880s through to the 1950s provide profound insight into our collective past, present and future and provide a basis for understanding the accelerating human condition (both good and bad).

This information, previously held closely by the very few, was cautiously released into a world dominated by religious, political and scientific dogma in an effort to create a brotherhood of man (in the terminology of the day) and to prepare humankind for the changes we have experienced and are currently undergoing. Embraced by many and attacked by others as is usual for any changes to worldview and perceived threats to self interest, these teachings were the forerunner of much of the spiritual movement seen today.

Are they still relevant today? Very much so. The teachings tell us that humankind has been evolving and some have evolved beyond the human realm into the higher spiritual levels. These “Masters of Wisdom” have been guiding and teaching for long ages, ever careful not to impinge on free will. They have gone by many names and have been known as Bodhisattvas, Buddhas, Guardian Angels and the like, as well as by individual names.

This is, in fact, the great story of our time. A story of the great spiritual unfolding, happening now. The Awakening Of Humanity!

Integral to the teachings were references to the return of the Christ (the Head of the Spiritual Hierarchy, according to these works). In fact, Alice Bailey, writing as an amanuensis for the Master D.K., provides considerable detail regarding this return in the book The Externalisation of the Hierarchy, which covers the period from 1934 to 1949, that great human crisis we know as World War Two.

The Head of the Masters of Wisdom, also known as the Spiritual Hierarchy, is the World Teacher, Maitreya, also known as the Christ, Maitreya Buddha, the Imam Mahdi, the Messiah and Krishna by various religions.

The Masters of Wisdom are the custodians of the Divine Plan for this planet. They have inspired all the great human achievements, working from behind the scenes through their disciples in every field of endeavour, guiding and teaching. But it is humanity itself, responding of its own free will to their stimulus, which creates each new civilisation.

Today, the Masters are returning to the outer world as a group for the first time in countless millennia. There is abundant information regarding these Masters in the esoteric philosophical texts issued from about 1875 through to 1950 and, more recently, in books published by Benjamin Crème. For over 40 years now, Crème has been the principal source of information about the emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher, and his group, the Masters of Wisdom.

Throughout his early years, Crème studied various aspects of esoteric philosophy, in particular, the teachings released through Helena Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society, and through Alice A. Bailey.

Crème relates that in 1959 he was contacted by one of the Masters and was told among other things, that Maitreya, the Master of all the Masters, would return in about 20 years and that he (Crème) would have a role to play in the event if he chose to accept it.

Following intensive training and now able to be in contact with one of the Masters constantly, Crème announced that he had been informed that, in July 1977, Maitreya emerged from His Centre in the Himalayas and since then has lived in London as a seemingly ordinary man concerned with modern problems – political, economic, social, spiritual and environmental. Since March 1978 He has been known as a spokesman in the Pakistani-Indian community. He is not a religious leader and is not a representative of any particular religion, but an educator in the broadest sense, pointing the way out of the present world crisis.

Maitreya Steps Forward

In January 2010, Share International issued a news release announcing that Maitreya had given His first television interview.Since then he has given 150 interviews around the world in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, Russia, according to Benjamin Crème.

He is introduced not as Maitreya, but simply as a man, one of us.In this way He ensures that men follow and support Him for the truth and sanity of His ideas rather than for His spiritual status. He speaks earnestly of the need for peace, achievable only through the creation of justice and the sharing of resources.

Look for a man who is calling for justice and freedom for the entire world. When enough people are responding to what He has to say Maitreya will be asked to speak to the entire world. This will be the Day of Declaration.

This is the greatest story of our time and deserves to be made known to all. Some will accept and some will reject. However, blind acceptance as well as blind rejection are equally non-productive. The reader is therefore invited to step back and take a look at information as presented over the years before coming to any conclusions. It is indeed, a story like no other.
